(September 27, 2005 ­ Maryborough & Echuka ­ Australia) ­ Daniel Richer alias La Flêche, won the title the Most Elegant Town Crier at the 11th World Town Crier Championship in Maryborough, and at the first Town Criers Invitational Championship in Echuka, in Australia.

Daniel Richer dit La Flêche Crieur public de métier, vêtu de ses uniformes des Régiments de la Guyenne et de La Sarre, s¹est distinguée parmi soixante-cinq (65) concurrents en provenance de huit (8) pays différents : Australie, Angleterre, Belgique États-Unis, Hollande, Nouvelle-Zélande, Pologne, et Canada au Championnat mondial. Il s¹est également accaparé du même titre, dans ses habits du 18ième siècle, lors d¹une seconde compétition à Echuka, sise également en Australie.
